IXC SoftSwitch
The system covers following VoIP providers businesses:
- Wholesale or Retail;
- Origination or Termination;
- PrePaid for Calling Cards;
- IXCPhone with Softphone/Dialer.
The program complex "IXC Billing Center" consists of components,
which can be implemented depending on needs of the customer.

Three components of Software are as follows:
- SoftSwitch Class 4 (H.323, SIP);
- Accounting;
- Switch Statistics

SoftSwitch is a system designed for routing and accounting of VoIP traffic. It allows
to optimize the existing VoIP network and create your personal VoIP network.

SoftSwitch base version manages traffic and performs functions of a Billing.
IXC Softswitch has internal QoS Monitor that allows controlling such vital call
characteristics as average call duration (ACD), successful call ratio (ASR) and
traffic volume.

We are using Modularity-Principle, i.e. you can add additional Modules to the base
version of Softswitch that enhances the functionality of the system.
You can add Financial Tools Module which eases you greatly.
• Also there is Protocols Converter that converts from one protocol
into another one and on the contrary:
H.323  SIP
• Plus there’s the Codecs Converter which do the following conversion:
G.711 => G729, G723
G.729 => G711, G723
G.723 => G711, G729

Also there’re additional Platforms which can be added to Softswitch base version
or can be applied and implemented as separate Platforms:
- IXC PrePaid Platform (Calling Cards);
- IXC IXCPhone Platform (with H.323 – based Softphone/Dialer)

IXC Financial Tools Module

IXC Financial Tools features:
Financial Tools allow controlling payments and keeping record of invoices.
The minimum configuration of utilities enables company-level accounting
and monitoring without any third-party accounting software.

On the basis of input data the system estimates balance of each company and allows
not only keep records of company’s profits and losses, but also make revenue forecast.

With this module you will also have a possibility to do
the following:
• view a report on activity of separate companies for any period of
business activity, as well as full financial report, which includes average
values on separate destination codes and amounts for
incoming/outgoing traffic, including cross traffic.
• view accounting of all payments and invoices;
• company can provide all possible services, which require separate accounting
(for instance co-location, prepaid);
• view accounting of money turnover
• view report on profit, both total and associative
• view full report on transit traffic. Report includes also average characteristics
of separate destination codes, as well as total amounts for outgoing and incoming
traffic including cross traffic;
and other functions.

The utility “Invoice Generation” allows to view invoices issued to service buyers
for specific service. Here you can see detailed information on which service
is billed, what amount is charged, bank account essentials or you can simply
generate invoice for yourself.

Besides, you can always avoid customer’s complaint to information contained in
invoice by granting them personal access to the data on their traffic contained
in your system.

IXC Financial Tools enable work with several banking accounts, as well as allow
to provide various services that require separate accounting (for instance colocation,
prepaid). Moreover, the enterprise can always view a report on activity of separate
companies for any period of business activity, as well as full financial report,
which includes average values on separate destination codes and amounts for
incoming/outgoing traffic, including cross traffic. Besides, the system accounts
all payments and billings, and keeps records of money turnover.

Financial Tools allow to control the break-even point of the enterprise by not
allowing unprofitable calls to go through the system.

Apart from all said above, IXC Financial Tools allow to perform automatic
disconnection and connection of customers when the money on their deposits runs out.
By setting the function depAlarm, the system will initiate the warning, which will
be activated and forwarded to the client every time when a deposit of a client
contains the amount, which is less than set minimum amount of money on deposit.
